We believe in strict data minimization. The GYP Database Chrome Extension collects and processes only the data absolutely necessary to fulfill its single purpose: cross-referencing contact records.

• Authentication Information: When you log in, we handle and store your user credentials and session tokens locally using browser storage (chrome.storage.local) to keep you securely signed in.
• Website Content (LinkedIn): The extension parses names and company profiles on LinkedIn page DOMs solely to query matches in the GYP Database. This data is processed on-the-fly and is never stored locally or collected by us.

2. How We Use the Information

We use the parsed details from LinkedIn profiles exclusively to retrieve matching business contact information from the GYP Database API. We do not track your browsing history, monitor your user activities, or collect personal communications.

3. Data Storage and Retention

All authentication session tokens are stored directly in your local browser instance. No search histories, queried profiles, or parsed LinkedIn metadata are retained or stored on our servers.

4. Data Sharing and Transfer

We do not sell, trade, or transfer user data to third parties. All data operations are strictly kept within the approved search query API of the GYP Database platform.

• User data is never used or shared for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose.
• User data is never used to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
